Begin your training with an intensive pre-delivery course in Slovenia. Gain a solid foundation in high-performance fundamentals using the Pipistrel Virus Spin Approved aircraft and cutting-edge VR simulators.
DELIVERY
Academy 4 instructors will help you take delivery of the aircraft. They will facilitate ironing out all the bugs and make the complete experience much less stresful.

Slovenia - Best Training Area in Whole EU
Slovenia is globally one of the best race-tracks for high-performance light aviation training. Free airspace, plenty of GA friendly airports and airstrips, globally unmatched variety of terrain and weather. As you can see from the image on the right, you can fly one sortie to the Adriatic island airfield, another to the Alpine areas and in the third you will be training against a stiff crosswind in the Panonian flat-land.

High performance fundamentals on Pipistrel Virus SW aircraft
- Speed range pitch/power/trim adjustments
- Acceleration and deceleration considerations

With a wide operating speed range the Virus, being a complex type allows pilots to gain the skills needed in high performance operations. High AOA awareness and AUPRT (advanced upset and prevention training) is undertaken in the spin approved Virus, building the valuable resilience and confidence skills needed to ensure safe and competent wide range aircraft envelope operations.
The Virus is glass-cockpit and autopilot equipped allowing the automation traps and operations to be fully understood. When to use automation and when to not, allowing you to fully exploit your high performance Risen aircraft.
Pre-delivery course - simulator training
Pre-delivery training course in Slovenia (high performance fundamentals on VR Simulator)
VR Simulator, comprehensive training modules including:
- X-Wind & Tailwind Training: Conducted in a simulator, challenging conditions are simulated to teach pilot skills and competencies to the highest level.
- Weather Exposure: En-route and approach scenarios emphasize TEM (threat & error management) during high-speed operations, building resilience to adapt to changing conditions.
- Emergency Situations: The VR simulator allows pilots to practice failure management effectively.
- High-Speed Approach Training: Taught in a simulator to safely exploit the airfield envelope for both short field and complex high-traffic airports.
